So tomorrow we are headed to Todd, NC to tube down the New river, and camp out. Anyone who knows me knows I am not really the camping type, but I am looking forward to "roughing it"...its only one night, I can handle one night!
We planned this trip for Budge's birthday, he will be 27 Monday, and Dave's birthday which is Tuesday. For as long as I have known them we have always celebrated their birthdays together, and we always try to plan something fun. So we will be taking 26 people all the way to the mountains for a day on the river, then big cookout at the campsite later. Should be lots of fun, I just really really (really) hope everything goes according to plan. Getting 26 people to all act right, and be on time might be tricky! Im sure we will have lots of stories, and pics to post upon return. Have a good weekend, and if you need us we will be floatin' down the river!
