Girls Weekend.

This weekend Budge headed to Va Beach to celebrate Alans birthday, and I had a girls weekend!

Saturday Trina came to town, and all of her bridal party (minus Caroline) went bridesmaids dress shopping. We started out at 10:15 at Davids Bridal. And actually got pretty lucky we found adorable dresses there, and after one other store Trina settled on those. Her wedding is in May in Emerald Isle so she wasn't looking for anything too fancy. The picture is our dresses...the color Stephanie is wearing is the actual color...not the orange! Although, I kind of liked the orange! After shopping we went to a fabulous lunch at a new place I had never tried...The Rockford. It was YUMMY! I highly recommend it for a lunch spot...yummy sandwiches, and unusual sides.

After lunch we all headed home to relax a bit, and then it was such a pretty day outside Stephanie I decided to go grab margaritas at LaCocina. We sat outside, and then all the girls met up there and we enjoyed chips and salsa and drinks...my favorite thing to do!

Sunday I got lots accomplished around the house, laundry, cleaning, and watched 1/2 of the 3rd season of Sex and the City. :) I also whipped up a new Weight Watcher meal for dinner...Sweet and Sour chicken in the crock pot. (ill post the recipe later, because it was EASY, and tasty)
Budge got home mid afternoon, and we enjoyed the rest of the day filling eachother in on our weekends, and spending the last part together. Girl, and guy time is always needed, and appreciated, but its also nice to have some B & C time too...all in all a lovely weekend!
