Pickles & Pong

Happily we (for the most part) stayed put this weekend. It was nice to get stuff handled around the house, and empty out the dvr!

We did venture to Mt. Olive Saturday night...if you are thinking that name sounds familiar you are right! Its where the make the pickles! And literally the welcome to Mt Olive sign is a giant pickle! Not only do they make pickles there, but our friends Jonathan and Jessie live there. J & J hosted a beer pong tournament. $20.00 buy in, double elimination. My partner was Stephanie and let me tell you we stunk. We were out in the second round. It was very frustrating because at times Steph and I are known to run the table, but not this time. It was an off night I guess. After that we just mainly sat on the sidelines and rooted for the other teams. Budge made a much better showing and actually made it to the semi-finals with his partner Johnathan. The big winner of the night was Jessies team...the funny part of this is that Jessie is pregnant and wasn't drinking...I guess sober won out in this case!

Sunday we layed around the house for most of the day. We did venture out for a bit to hit Dicks sporting goods, and the grocery...I know it was very exciting! Im in the market for an elliptical machine and we tested all of them out at Dicks....which was a good workout! After trying all of them a few times we did narrow it down to one, which of course they didn't have in stock. We will probably end up ordering it online.

Every once in a while its so nice to have a lazy weekend where you can stay in your pjs for longer than normal and get some good couch time. I will always welcome weekends like these!
