Friday I had Lasik surgery, and let me tell you it is AMAZING!
I have worn contacts/glasses since I was 13 years old, and the price of my contacts kept going up, and the glasses were also getting pretty pricey, so I thought why not?
It was the quickest most painless procedure ever. They take you back and the whole thing took less than 3 minutes per eye. It didn't hurt a bit, at times there was some uncomfortable pressure, but that was it. You couldn't see anything that was going on really, but my mom did get to watch the whole thing! After the surgery I couldn't see perfectly, but as the night progressed my vision got better and better. When I woke up Saturday morning I could see fine. I had to go to the doctor for a follow up Saturday morning and my right eye was reading at 20/20, and my left 20/25...pretty good!
I recommend this to anyone who is a candidate. It really is amazing to be able to wake up and see the clock, and everything else for that matter!
